As with any type of procedure, the most important thing is that a person considering photo rejuvenation must be sure they have realistic expectations of what they can expect after treatment. They also need to understand that one treatment is not likely to achieve the results they're seeking and that not all skin issues can be corrected with photo rejuvenation.
Common uses
Some of the most common skin problems that can be helped by photo rejuvenation include:
Acne - we all know how disfiguring acne scars can be. Photo
Rejuvenation is an option for those who have deep marks left on their skin from severe acne. While it may not eradicate the scars, it can minimize them.
Rosacea - for those who suffer with rosacea (reddening of the skin) photo rejuvenation can be very helpful in treatment.
Vascular Lesions - can be anything from very fine feathery marks on the face (or anywhere else on the body) to darker spots. Photo Rejuvenation can be used to lessen these marks.
Birthmarks - birthmarks can often be lightened with photo rejuvenation although they often require multiple treatments.
Hair Removal - some people feel the most effective method of hair removal from the face or on other areas of the body are best dealt with using photo rejuvenation methods. This is one of the most popular treatments.

Heard of Photorejuvenation?
The treatment called Photo Rejuvenation is a breakthrough in cosmetic procedures that involves using various non-surgical processes to improve the surface of the skin. Skin texture, fine wrinkles, scars and even discoloration caused by sun, age, chronic pain and freckles can be improved when the photo rejuvenation process is used on a patient. There are both mechanical as well as chemical procedures that are classified as photo rejuvenation including laser, thermal procedures and of course chemical peels.
Lasers deliver energy and have specific applications that are dependent on wavelength, power and even the duration of the pulse. When lasers are used it is applied to the skin for specific skin types and even based on the level of correction that someone is attempting. This means that often more than one laser might be used to achieve the benefits that are being sought.
But there are inherited risk with Laser and often some downtime associated with these type of treatments. Light Therapy is often used to achieve benefits that were often only possible with invasive surgeries such as brow lifts and other similar procedures. Photo rejuvenation is an evolving technology and it's important to note that while it's not a substitute for surgery or other invasive treatments, is can be useful for minor problems. One of the biggest benefits is the no recovery time that patients have from photo rejuvenation versus other procedures.

Laser Cellulite Removal and How it is Done
These procedures guarantee that cellulite will be removed from your body but they don't guarantee that your body will say cellulite free. This technology also does not come cheap so you need lots of money for the procedure. Coming back to laser that is used to reduce cellulite, this is actually a concentrated beam of light that is passed right though the cellulite lining. This begins to mobilize the cells and helps them melt faster by quick follow-ups of hot pads and cold pads over the affected area.
This laser is a strong beam of light that is strong enough to cut right through the layers of fat in your body. This is one reason why melting the layer of fat under your skin is not a very difficult job for the laser. The flip side of this technology is however that some doctors are not concerned with the long term affects that this laser therapy has on a person's body. In order to clear this doubt there has been a theory devised that proposes and talks about the amount of radiation and the magnitude of the radiation that a human body can bear though its lifetime primarily from exposure to the sun. Even apart from this argument, laser therapy to reduce cellulite has been tested on various patients and the long term results are in practicality harmless. Thus, the bottom line is that although natural ways of cellulite reduction are obviously preferred but use of laser to reduce cellulite too is not to be ignored.

Lasers to Remove Cellulite!
Now the term laser reducing cellulite might sound a bit like a science fiction movie and scary. Don't worry however because this is a safe and tested procedure. Fat cells are nothing more than mere Cellulite that has accumulated under a layer of skin making your skin look loose the most common areas this happens in are the thighs, hips, buttocks etc. The job of the laser beam is to remove this layer of fat so that it tightens the skin and makes it look well tucked. There are many natural ways of getting rid of fat it includes massages, anti oxidant food, lots of exercise however these are not long term solutions and so you need to use a more permanent solution.
Surgical procedures are the most modern ways of getting rid of fat. The truth about fat is that once it develops its really hard to completely remove it using natural methods so an artificial method should be sought as a permanent solution. When you think about taking on surgical procedures there are many options you are faced with i.e. liposuction, laser treatment etc that are used to reduce cellulite, lymphatic drainage massage, jet therapy, patch contour etc are performed under anesthesia. The most surgical out of these is Liposuction and is performed under anesthesia.

A Little on Cellulite
Cellulite is one of the most common problems women try to deal with everyday. Cellulite is actually fat deposits under the skin; yes girls fat. The excess fat beneath the skin, where there is cellulite, is uneven causing a bumpy, dimply appearance of the skin. Men can get cellulite as well but it is not as common in men as it is in women. The cellulite mostly appears on the buttocks or thighs which are more fat parts of the women's body.
The causes of cellulite:
1. Genes - women have more fat on the thighs and buttocks for pregnancy causes, some women have more fat than others and some have less fat, depending on the family genes.
2. Hormones imbalance- excess of the female hormone, estrogen, can cause weakening of the connective tissues which allows fat to get into the tissues and creates the bumpy texture of the skin.
3. Nutrition- People who don't watch their diet and eat junk food have more toxins and fat in their body, which being transferred under the tissues, causes cellulite.
